Stickers by David Reimann

David Reimann combines his love for mathematics with visual arts to create imagery and elements with symmetry, geometry, and patterns to convey messages on multiple levels.

These three sticker designs showcase the combination of love and math.

A Pride of Hearts: "143 colored hearts arranged in 11 arms, each having 13 hearts, swirling in spiral pattern. The association between the phrase 'I love you' and 143 was popularized by Mister (Fred) Rogers, based the word lengths in the phrase, on his television show. Everyone should have pride in who they love, how they love, and how they express their love."

143 Hearts: "A large heart made from 143 small hearts. The digits represent the letters in each word of the phrase 'I love you'."

Pursuing Pride: "Pride is important because somewhere out there is a confused teenager who still thinks maybe being dead is better than being gay, and this is not okay. We are a better society when everyone has pride in themselves and in who and how they love, and when everyone works together to affirm the rights and dignity of all."
