As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming shopping experience for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in finding the perfect items that reflect their love for Albion or Albion College. You will also contribute to maintaining the overall appearance and organization of the store, ensuring a visually appealing and inviting atmosphere.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to shoppers by greeting them when they come in, sparking conversation to help determine their needs, and assisting customers by making informed recommendations about products they might like

  • Offer exceptional customer service by keeping customers informed of preferred customer sales, interesting aspects about the products, and loyalty program

  • Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction 

  • Interact with customers on the store floor 

  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the Shopify App to complete cash, credit, or check sales.

  • Maintain a neat, organized, and welcoming sales floor and environment

  • Assist with inventory, including accurately counting new products, tagging, and stocking merchandise when asked and promptly 

  • Maintain flexibility in schedules and time, including weekend availability.  Associates are expected to maintain availability on designated high-traffic days such as Albion College Homecoming, Commencement, Festival of the Forks, Small Business Saturday, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, etc.
