Lea Rakistaba

Lea RakistabaLea Rakistaba grew up just outside of Albion and graduated from Calvin College in 2013.  She volunteered abroad in Burkina Faso, West Africa after college before moving back to Albion. Lea learned how to crochet in 2014 and started participating in a few craft fairs.  She created Lea's Crochet Corner and began raising money for her fiance's plane ticket from Burkina Faso to the U.S. Lea and her husband live here in Albion where she works at The Bohm Theatre and Stirling Books & Brew. Lea continues to crochet not only because it's fun, but because handmade items are one-of-a-kind and the creations are limitless
